Negatives were the breakfast was of very poor quality. Food was cold, coffee was poor quality. Entertainment for kids, we had three 2,8 & 12 wasn't great. It cost us 100e for golf! Tennis for an hour 23e, very expensive. A large beer was 5e but if you walked across the road to the Alfagar it was 2,90e and entertainment every night!
Lovely place but we won't be back.
We had an excellent stay at your beautiful village. Very friendly staff and very very clean.

This is an incredible place. For a second year we were there with pleasure to come back again.At reception were two charming, very kind and helpful ladies Luisa and Susana, also the cleaning staff was at a very high level, everything was very clean. Visit this amazing place with many palm trees, pools and flowers, you will be fascinated. I and my family will be happy to be a guests at this beautiful place again .

Todo ha sido perfecto, excepto una mujer que trabajaba durante el fin de semana. Fue bastante antipatica. Pero el personal portugeso entresemana (los dos hombres y dos mujeres portugesas) fue super simpatica!

At first we were placed in a very old and musty apartment where we spent the first night. It wasn't very child friendly and had a lot of unnecessary furniture. We requested to move and we're moved swiftly the next day. This caused us disruption and to lose a day of our holidays but the new apartment was excellent and very modern.

On arrival we were warmly greeted at reception. A young man from Brazil took us to our apartment in a golf cart and on the way he accustomed us to all the different areas of the resort.
The apartment was beautiful, very well kitted out. BT Sports, Sky Sports and Terrestrial Channels.
All staff were very pleasant at the dining room, Good food, plenty of it. A lovely take away breakfast prepared for us for day of departure as our time of leaving was too early to go for breakfast.

Family members were located in 3 apartments one group owned there own apartment one group was a private letting and my wife and I rented from Balaia. We were located closely together by an understanding reception staff and really enjoyed our stay. The Village is well looked after the apartments clean and the pools and grounds and golf course are excellent The on- site restaurant is also very good as is the 19th "hole" clubhouse. An excellent place to stay. It is a little outside the main old town area but that created an opportunity for us to visit some of the lesser known beaches and we found some beautiful restaurants and bars hidden away which we may have missed by being in the town centre. Taxi from Albuferia town to Balaia is 7 euros.

Booked a two bed superior apartment and it was exactly as advertised....Was pleasantly surprised....There are 6 pools on site and the area is gorgeously green with stunningly white apartments.....The maid service is good....the only fault I found was that the supermarket is limited for the self catering accommodations.....apart from the beaches, town and strips are very near and have a lot of tourists goodies and the food and alcohol is very cheap....Fantastic time had by my entire family...will book again....

Loved the resort, cleaning , reception staff were lovely. GRounds were kept immaculate as were the rooms. Pity about the Veranda restaurant and its staff, impolite not very helpful and food wasn't great ended up leaving the resort every night for dinner. it transpires the restaurant is owned separately and the Golf village resort will run it from this December when the current lease expires. I expect that to be a huge improvement and wil go back for a holiday

We visited on 13th September 2016 for one week, we stayed in a 3 bed apartment (466) which was stunning!!!! Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, clean and modern. The cleaner came everyday except Sunday. We had a washing machine and dryer, iron, ironing board etc. 2 of the 3 beds had terraces and upstairs where the lounge and kitchen is there is a large double terrace with a bbq! We had our own garden area with 4 X sun longers. Cannot rate the property higher it was fab, we're all looking to returning next year.
The setting with 6 X pools is amazing, each pool has a bar where you can get cooked meals (basic) omelet and chips etc but all good and tasty, the cocktails and sangria was fab, we had a few of those!
The reception staff we helpful, fun and kind going out of their way to offer any help, recommending restaurants and calling cabs etc. Go to the old town it's lovely, lots of good restaurants and lively bars.
On the site there is a restaurant we went there one night and it was the only bad experience. The staff were grumpy and unhelpful. Our cocktails had curdled and whilst the took the cost off the bill they were rude. The food was actually quite good but we left feeling angry and went straight to the reception to complain. The staff explained to us that the restaurant was rented out, they called on our behalf to express how unhappy we were. This experience would in no way stop us going back but we wouldn't use the restaurant again and wouldn't pay for half board etc as this is where you'll end up eating.
This is a beautiful place for a getaway with friends/family there is a beach nearby with a good affordable family run restaurant where you can sit and watch the sun go down whilst enjoying fresh fish and a beer or two :)

Levei com uma bola quando estava na piscina principal. Pensei que era contra as regras da piscina. Reclamei com o staff que me disse que não podia fazer nada.

We stayed a week in Balaia Golf village with our 2 kids (8 y and 6 y) and had a very pleasant stay. Facilities such as pools and restaurants are very convenient and well maintained. The houses and apartments are in a superb green setting that is amazingly well maintained. The village has an excellent location, the beaches are only a few minutes away by car. And also important, very quiet at night. We will probably come back.

We would advise and recommend anyone to stay here, brilliant from the time we arrived to time to checking out. We had one of the two bed apartments over looking the driving range which as a non golfer I thought would spoil the break but after a couple of days all the family where wanting to play which we all enjoyed. The Staff made our holiday so friendly, the apartment very well maintained, clean and well stocked with everything you would need home from home. The pools well looked after and staffed all the time, and the landscaping to die for.
Absolute pleasure, only fault bigger coffee cups next please

We stayed one week and had a good apartment near one of the swimming pools. Although we could not see/find this in the original description of the apartment, we were very pleased that it had very good air-conditioning. We took a full week WIFI for inside the apartment and signal from apartment was good enough to even reach the pool area. Very convenient beds at the pool. We played several rounds of golf on the par-3 course of good quality greens.

excelente, já estive aí hospedada umas 5 vezes e fiquei sempre satisfeita. Bons apartamentos, excelentes espaços verdes, ambiente sossegado, piscinas com espaço, proximidade a pe da praia, boa comida no restaurante Varanda e conveniencia do supermercado são tudo pontos positivos que destaco.
Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and all the facilities available on the grounds. The apartment was very well set out, we were very impressed.

The only draw back was the building is cold; good for the very hot summer but not so good for the colder month of February. The heater in the bathroom was very good, although the heating in the bedroom and lounge were not quite up to the giving sustainable heat.
Apesar das condições meteorológicas adversas, foi um serão descansado e bem passado. O pessoal foi muito prestável e eficiente.

Rooms were very spacious, beds were comfortable and clean, Kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. 6 swimming pools to choose from!! We had breakfast with a beautiful view of the golf course. Highly recommended.

Our family spent 9 days at the Balaia Golf Village Resort during January. Wonderful facilities: 6 swimming pools, snack bar next to one of the pools, gym, free wifi, tennis court and a beautifukl golf course. Spacious and well decorated rooms, well equipped apàrtment with a lovely view. Very friendly and helpful staff at the restaurant. Would go again as we had a very quiet and peacefull holiday

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en estos apartamentos y una vez más hemos quedado encantados. Los niños se divirtieron al máximo, y nosotros tuvimos tiempo para relajarnos, nadar, descansar y respirar aire puro. Está muy cerca de la playa. El apartamento tiene tv, baño privado, sábanas y toallas impecables, y cocina, así que aprovechamos para cocinar en la tarde, y en las noches salíamos a cenar. El personal siempre amigable y los espacios son maravillosos. Esperamos alojarnos aquí cuando regresemos a Albufeira.

Pasamos nuestras vacaciones en este resort y han sido las mejores. El resort es hermoso, con espacios naturales y muchas actividades para hacer: golf, tennis, gimnasio, jacuzzi... Ofrecen servicio de alquiler de bicicletas, así que fue perfecto porque nos encanta hacer deporte y pudimos recorrer buena parte de los alrededores. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer Albufeira, aunque el resort tiene de todo y no dan ganas de salir. Los apartamentos son espaciosos, iluminados, cómodos, limpios. 10 días inolvidables. 100% recomendado.
